Land Down Under Post 2

So if you're not big into miracles then I recommend you stop reading now. Only the first week here in Toowoomba is almost done and already so many amazing revelations have been made and God has been working in some crazy cool ways. This might be a tad bit long so I'll separate it into a few sections for the readers in a hurry. Testimony Prep We are sharing our testimonies on Saturday, so I thought that it would be a good idea to start figuring out what I wanted to share. During my one-on-one with my leader (the equivalent of PNW's "let's go get a coffee to chat"), she was talking to me about how my testimony is not what I have gone through and how I was able to come out of it, it's about who I am today and the amazing things God has done in my life. It's tough looking back and saying that I am new and unashamed, but dang I've already felt so much healing. I was able to tell my testimony to her with a joy that the Lord holds me in his arms now, n...

Land Down Under Post 1

I’ve been here in the land down under for three days now, and I cannot even believe how beautiful it is. A lot of the same stuff, just everything a bit magnified. It’s hot and the sun is much harsher. The lowest SPF you can find is 50. The green is greener and there is a whole lot more of it. And the animals are more colorful and much more poisonous. There are 15 days now. Fifteen days until I take off for the land Down Under all by myself. I've been leaning on God a ton as I'm about to step out of my comfort zone, which is where I know He likes me to be. And as I reflect on what I'm feeling about the whole picking up and leaving the steady lifestyle that I have finally acquired thing, all that keeps coming to mind are a few worship songs that I thought I'd share. Hopefully some could help you too if you're planning on trying to venture into some unmarked territory this year as well. 1. What A Beautiful Name // Hillsong Worship This ones a new favorite of many, and for good reason. The parts of that song that truly break me up inside every time is when it says  You have no rival.  You have no equal.  ... What a powerful name it is. Nothing can stand against.  Sometimes I think that I look at the world as this big raging fight of God vs. Satan. But this just sets me straight every time. He has n...
